Town Center LCI Public Workshop

 
As part of the Town Center LCI Supplemental Study, a public workshop will be held at the Etris Community Center on February 13, 2013 to receive input on reuse/redevelopment alternatives for the Union Station Mall site. The meeting agenda includes a presentation to explain the project background, to discuss key findings of a market analysis undertaken as part of this project, and to present redevelopment scenarios for public review and comment. These scenarios will also address the potential for relocating the South Fulton Park & Ride lot that is currently located one exit north of the mall. Public input gathered at the meeting will be used to identify a preferred development concept for the mall site. The concept will address land use and design, traffic circulation and multi-modal connectivity, parking, green space, and preliminary implementation strategies. The preferred concept will be presented at a second public meeting in late March, to be followed by Mayor and Council review in early April.

The February 13th workshop is the first scheduled public meeting for the LCI Supplemental Study. It will begin at 7:00 p.m.
