This Division is the uniformed patrol force of the City. Officers patrol the City streets, answer calls for service, and work with the community to solve problems. It consists of five geographic patrol zones and it is by far the largest and most visible component of the Police Department. Assignments within this Division include, but are not limited to: Patrol, Traffic Enforcement Unit, and K9. The Field Operations Captain is the primary commanding officer over the Uniform Patrol Division.

The Uniform Patrol Division consists of three eight-hour shifts that rotate twenty-four hours per day. Each respective shift is commanded by a Lieutenant, along with a Sergeant who assist in handling the day-to-day operations of each respective shift.
