House Watch Program
The Police Department provides the service of making periodic security checks of residences while they are out of town or during unusual circumstances. This service is provided by the Department for the purposes of crime prevention, public relations, and to simply make the citizen feel more secure knowing that their home is protected when unattended for long periods of time. While it is understood that the mere visual and physical security checks may not prevent a burglary or any other incident, it does yield increased opportunity in discovering an intrusion or crime while it is taking place or once it has occurred.
If you are interested in having your residence placed on the House Watch Program while you are out of town, complete the House Watch Form by clicking here. You may hand deliver the form to the Union City Police Department located at 5060 Union Street, Union City, Georgia 30291 or fax to (770) 964-9908.
